Each Interactive Site uses concepts that meets the requirements of the Client Thus, a few of the concepts discussed in this segment apply to every Site, a few others apply to most Sites, and others exist on only a few Sites (as few as one, actually).
The Concepts are listed alphabetically in the Table of Contents (at the left side of the screen). Please note that a few design aspects apply to all of the concepts implemented on each Site:
The terms that we use to describe each concept are defined in Information: Terminology. Remember that each Term can only have one meaning within a Site
You should implement ALL of the concepts in a coordinated manner. Meaning, every Site should adhere to a strict and consistent approach to integrating their data and the Site's functions.
NOT every Site contains every Concept. In other words, your RidgeStar Site will vary from another RidgeStar Site.
You must accept that the database contains information that is "owned" by the Site and that the Site is NOT the private domain of any single Administrator, Assignor, etc. Remember, the Interactive Site is about empowering the User!
