RidgeStar comprises only one piece of our history here at North Ridge Software, Inc.
We started developing, marketing, and supporting generalized systems software for IBM Mainframes in 1982. Our primary technicians each have over 54 years of experience in the computer industry (yep, we've been around a while). This combination of business and technical
expertise allows us to provide excellent customer service and business solutions.
Our Internet business developed when we first launched a homepage for our own software division. Unexpectedly, we began to receive queries about developing Sites for other small to medium size businesses. We soon discovered that many people needed a high-quality, service-oriented company with fair prices. Thus, in 1995, we started a Web division named NrsNet (North Ridge Software NET). The Internet adventure began!
The most recent turn in our adventure has been renaming our Web division from "NrsNet" to "RidgeStar" (in hopes that it will be easier to remember and spell than "NrsNet"). We launched our improved RidgeStar Site in January of the year 2000. You're currently viewing the latest version of that Site right now! We call it Version 6.2.6.
