After battling a periodic disk shortage in a key disk partition on net2 ... at about 9am on 7/25/2026 the server simply stopped servicing any further database requests. This, of course, rendered the websites ineffective.

The good news? It only affected 4 sites.

The bad news? They were some of the most active Chapters AND the RidgeStar site itself (and it's backing database).

We've shifted the affected websites to different servers and they should be back online as you read this. We expect it'll take several days to get everything completely back to normal and we want to extend our apologies to all the Webmasters and their Users.

Simply state...

Administrators (especially WA State Chapters) can now set their RidgeStar Account "business address" at RidgeStar-Account (this is independent of the Address specified at Setting=Chapter). In WA State this is important as it controls the applicable Sales and Use Tax computation done at Invoice time.

After review of existing RSU factors (the base for setting Service Fees) and with the objective of getting our Service Fees in line with overall strategic objectives, today RidgeStar announces a revision in Bandwidth (40% reduction) and Records (60% reduction) RSU Factors. This will have the cumulative effect of reducing RidgeStar Service fees for ALL Clients.

For Client sites with relatively heavy volumes this will also extend the range of RSU values for each Service Tier. We intend this to support Chapter growth without difficult Service Tier increases.
