Reference: HTML-StyleSheetsStyle Sheets permit Site designers to create templates for the layout of the pages for a Site. This template can then be applied to the various Web pages to provide a consistent look and feel from page to page (a most significant benefit, we think). For example, this page uses a StyleSheet named .css, which specifies the colors, styles, and layout of the various headings and graphics. A StyleSheet can significantly impact how a site will look and, as a result, impact it's effectiveness. To demonstrate this, we prepared a few style sheets for you to experiment with on our Site. To start experimenting, select one of the alternatives from the list below and then click "Set": You can then click through the site to view the Style Sheet's impact. You may find that some Style Sheet combinations produce effects that we didn't necessarily intend. To reset our default Style Sheet, select "RidgeStar" and click on "Set". | |||
